ARA

    Ara is made of lace lined with chiffon and non-stretch satin, skirt is chiffon lined with non-stretch satin.

    How to wash Ara

    • Due to the delicate nature of lace, the Ara lace blouse should either be hand-washed or washed on the delicate cycle, singularly if possible, to prevent it from catching on other garments, buttons, zippers etc.
    • Do not twist or wring the blouse to avoid stretching the lace or ruining its silhouette.
    • Before washing the Ara skirt, check for any spots and wash/ treat, before washing the entire skirt.
    • Use gentle detergents, and avoid detergents with bleach.

    How to iron Ara

    • The Ara lace blouse doesn't need to be ironed/ pressed but if you opt for heat, gently steam, as opposed to ironing.
    • To preserve the fullness of the ARA skirt, gently steam, as opposed to ironing.

     

    BEBI

    Bebi is made of non-stretch chiffon lined with non-stretch satin or mesh/ lace lined with non-stretch satin.

    How to wash Bebi

    • Bebi can be dry-cleaned, hand-washed or machine-washed.
    • Use gentle detergents, and avoid detergents with bleach.
    • Use cold water as hot water could cause minor dye bleeding.
    • Do not twist or wring the garment to avoid ruining the its silhouette.

    How to iron Bebi

    • The Bebi chiffon variant can be ironed on medium/ high heat while the Bebi mesh variant should be ironed on low/ medium heat.
    • To allow for stiffness and give additional structure to the garment, specifically the skirt, lightly starch by soaking it in cold-water starch during the wash process or target spray heat-set starch around the hems and the sides. Ensure the starch, in either situation, is diluted to avoid staining the garment.
    • The sleeves and the hem of the blouse can also be lightly starched.

     

    DEDE

    Dede is made of non-stretch chiffon lined with non-stretch satin.

    How to wash Dede

    • Dede can be dry-cleaned, hand-washed or machine-washed.
    • In the case of machine washing, do not overcrowd the machine to avoid crumpling the ruffles.
    • Use gentle detergents, and avoid detergents with bleach.
    • Use cold water as hot water could cause minor dye bleeding.
    • Do not twist or wring the garment to avoid ruining the its silhouette and ruffles.

    How to iron Dede

    • The Dede blouse can be ironed on medium/ high heat, preferably steamed.
    • When pressing the blouse, to keep the fullness of the ruffles, avoid pressing around those areas.
    • We strongly advice that the Dede skirt be steamed to keep its structure. If you opt for ironing, spread the skirt fully on the ironing surface, and iron in sections to avoid creating pleats or de-volumizing the skirt.
    • To allow for stiffness and give additional structure to the garment, specifically the skirt, lightly starch by soaking it in cold-water starch during the wash process or target spray heat-set starch around the hems and the sides. Ensure the starch, in either situation, is diluted to avoid staining the garment.

     

    FAARI

    Faari is made of non-stretch chiffon lined with non-stretch satin.

    How to wash Faari

    • Faari can be dry-cleaned, hand-washed or machine-washed.
    • In the case of machine washing, do not overcrowd the machine to avoid crumpling the ruffles.
    • Use gentle detergents, and avoid detergents with bleach.
    • Use cold water as hot water could cause minor dye bleeding.
    • Do not twist or wring the garment to avoid ruining the its silhouette and ruffles.

    How to iron Faari

    • Faari should be steamed to keep its volume. If you opt for ironing, spread the dress and iron in sections to avoid creating pleats.
    • When pressing, to keep the fullness of the ruffles, avoid pressing around those areas.

     

    ITO

    Ito is made of lace lined with silk and sateen, skirt is silk lined with sateen.

    How to wash Ito

    • Due to the delicate nature of lace and silk, the Ito lace blouse should be either hand-washed or washed on the delicate cycle, singularly if possible, to prevent it from catching on other garments, buttons, zippers etc.
    • Do not twist or wring the Ito blouse or scarf to avoid stretching the lace, ruining its silhouette or damaging the silk fibres.
    • The Ito silk skirt and scarf can also be hand-washed or washed on the delicate cycle, singularly if possible.
    • To provide, additional structure to the Ito blouse, it can be lightly cold-water starched before line-drying.

    How to iron Ito

    • The Ito lace blouse doesn't need to be ironed/ pressed but if you opt for heat, gently steam, as opposed to ironing.
    • We strongly advice that the Ito skirt be steamed to keep its volume and structure. If you opt for ironing, place a pressing cloth between the silk and the iron and spread the skirt fully on the ironing surface, and iron in sections to avoid creating pleats or de-volumizing the skirt.
    • The Ito scarf can be steamed or ironed on low heat.
    • Do not spray or wet silk while ironing to prevent water stains.

     

    KERE

    Kere is made of textured raw silk lined with no-stretch satin.

    How to wash Kere

    • Kere can be dry-cleaned, hand-washed or machine-washed.
    • In the case of machine washing, wash singularly if possible, to avoid have the beads catch on other garments and breaking off.
    • Use gentle detergents, and avoid detergents with bleach.
    • Use cold water as hot water could cause minor dye bleeding.

    How to iron Kere

    • Kere can be ironed or steamed on high heat.
    • If needed, water can also be sprayed on the fabric for additional smoothening/ crisp.

     

    LULE

    Lule is made of textured damask/ brocade blends.

    How to wash Lule

    • Lule should be dry-cleaned, hand-washed or machine-washed using the delicate cycle to avoid unravelling of the fabric's fibres.
    • Use gentle detergents, and avoid detergents with bleach.
    • Do not put the garment in the spin dryer, rather spread/ hang on a line to dry.

    How to iron Lule

    • Lule can be ironed on medium/ high heat.
    • To allow for stiffness and give additional structure to the garment, lightly starch by soaking it in cold-water starch  during the wash process or target spray heat-set starch around the hems and the sides. Ensure the starch, in either situation, is diluted to avoid staining the garment.
    • Always use a pressing cloth between the iron and the fabric to prevent the snagging of the fabric's fibres.

     

    MATSI

    Matsi is made of non-stretch chiffon lined with non-stretch satin.

    How to wash Matsi

    • Matsi can be dry-cleaned, hand-washed or machine-washed.
    • Use gentle detergents, and avoid detergents with bleach.
    • Use cold water as hot water could cause minor dye bleeding.
    • Do not soak to avoid fading of the rings.

    How to iron Matsi

    • Dede can be ironed on medium/ high heat, preferably steamed.
    • If you opt for pressing, to keep the fullness of the ruching, avoid pressing around those areas.
    • To allow for stiffness and give additional structure to the garment, lightly starch by soaking it in cold-water starch  during the wash process or target spray heat-set starch around the hems and the sides. Ensure the starch, in either situation, is diluted to avoid staining the garment.

     

    MMIRI

    The Mmiri blouse is made of non-stretch chiffon/ silk while the Mmiri skirt is made with non-stretch satin.

    How to wash Mmiri

    • Mmiri in its chiffon variant can be dry-cleaned, hand-washed or machine-washed.
    • Mmiri in its silk variant can be hand-washed or washed on the delicate cycle, singularly if possible.
    • Use gentle detergents, and avoid detergents with bleach.
    • Use cold water as hot water could cause minor dye bleeding.
    • To provide additional structure to the Mmiri chiffon blouse, it can be lightly cold-water starched before line-drying.

    How to iron Mmiri

    • The Mmiri chiffon blouse can be ironed on medium/ high heat.
    • To allow for stiffness and give additional structure to the Mmiri chiffon blouse, lightly starch by soaking it in cold-water starch during the wash process or target spray heat-set starch around the hems and the sides. Ensure the starch, in either situation, is diluted to avoid staining the garment.
    • The Mmiri silk blouse can be steamed or ironed on low heat.
    • Do not spray or wet silk while ironing to prevent water stains.

     

    NAMI

    The Nami dress is non-stretch chiffon lined with silk.

    How to wash Nami

    • Nami can be dry-cleaned, hand-washed or machine-washed.
    • Use gentle detergents, and avoid detergents with bleach.
    • Use cold water as hot water could cause minor dye bleeding.
    • In the case of machine washing, wash singularly if possible, to avoid have the beads catch on other garments and breaking off.

    NYA

    Nya is made of silk.

    How to wash Nya

    • Nya should be steamed or ironed on medium heat.
    • Do not spray or wet silk while ironing to prevent water stains.

     

    SUSU

    Susu is made of non-stretch chiffon lined with non-stretch satin.

    How to wash Susu

    • Susu can be dry-cleaned, hand-washed or machine-washed.
    • In the case of machine washing, do not overcrowd the machine to avoid crumpling the ruffles.
    • Use gentle detergents, and avoid detergents with bleach.

    • The SUSU skirt should NOT be ironed/ pressed but if you opt for heat, gently steam, as opposed to ironing. We strongly advice that it be steamed to keep its volume and structure.
    • The Susu blouse can be steamed or ironed on high heat.
    • Do not spray or wet silk while ironing to prevent water stains.

     

    ZAFI

    Zafi is made of lace and non-stretch chiffon.

    How to wash Zafi

    • Zafi can be dry-cleaned, hand-washed or machine-washed.
    • In the case of machine washing, do not overcrowd the machine to avoid crumpling the layers.
    • Use gentle detergents, and avoid detergents with bleach.
    • Use cold water as hot water could cause minor dye bleeding.
    • Do not twist or wring the garment to avoid ruining the its silhouette and ruffles.
    • Zafi SHOULD be cold-water starched before ironing or spray-starched during the ironing process, for added structure and stiffness

    How to iron Zafi

    • Zafi should be steamed, as opposed to ironing. If you opt for ironing, spread the bottom portion fully on the ironing surface, and iron in sections to avoid creating pleats or de-volumizing the pleats.
    • The lace portion doesn't need to be ironed/ pressed but if you opt for heat, gently steam. If you opt for ironing, place a pressing cloth between the lace and the iron to avoid fabric ironing
